I had to burn some vacation this week just so I can make it to some doctors appointments. It sucks working on the Western part of Nebraska when all my doctors are either in the Grand Island, NE area or Omaha, NE. Driving across the state for this stuff sucks!

One of the reasons I haven't been walking as much as I should (other then the fact I'm lazy) is my because my left foot is really bothering me. I have to get orthopedic inserts fitted for my feet ordered. I finally was able to get this done yesterday. There is another $400 gone in a instant. Just hope it is worth it, and it will be if I can walk more without regretting it a few hours later or in the morning.

Today I'm going to Omaha for another fill on my lap band. I still don't have a lot of restriction when I eat. Would have gotten it done a lot earlier but I've been busy with work. Going to stay over night and catch a movie while I'm there too. Hopefully meet up with a friend or two also.

Yesterday I stopped in and weighted myself. I'm now down to 439lbs. from 504lbs., I was at 514lbs. at one point last summer. Still feel I should have lost more. I'd really like to be at 300lbs. by next summer.

On January 6th I had the lap band done. As of March 26th I weigh 441lbs. I was up to 514lbs at one point this summer and before the diet for the operation I was at 504lbs. When I last weighed myself I was at 441lbs., and lost 63lbs. I'm going in today to get more fluid added to my lap band and weight in again.

I was doing real well with the diet up until I returned to work. Now that I'm working it's gotten a lot more difficult to stick to it. Especially since I'm living out of motels all week long while away for work. I know I'm not getting nearly enough vegetables and fruits. Have been sticking mainly to canned tuna and sliced chicken or turkey breast.

I'm also needing to really workout a lot more. I was walking a half hour every other day and now I'm barely doing that. I got on this crew because I though I'd be able to workout every night after work but I'm in a part of Nebraska (soon to be Wyoming) where there are not many places to go workout. Granted I could still go for walks, and I need to get my lazy butt back into that.

After this weekend I need to really start strength training though too. I went to an arm wrestling event in St. Joseph, MO and got my ass handed to me. The only person I beat the entire day was my brother whom I basically dragged along for the ride. I drove from the Nebraska/Wyoming state line to Scotia, NE, slept for four hours, and then drove the rest of the way across Nebraska and went to the event. Felt real week and tired all day long. I'm worried it might be something to do with the lap band, I've felt week a lot off and on the last few weeks. One of the reasons I've not really felt like going to workout.

No matter what I need to get some kind of system figured out where I can get in a grove. I need to get the weight off and get back into shape. Need to get back into a place where I'm competitive in sports again too. I hate felling this pathetic and like a fucking looser!
